On family trips we make sure everyone has a camera since you never know what you’re going to encounter. This generates a lot of pictures which got me thinking: Why not illustrate the experiences instead? My goal is to create a series of several postcards per particular trip. Of course, the scene I’m referencing holds a particular memory for me, but by making a drawing of non-specific people I think others can collectively share the experience. Regardless of whether you’ve visited these places I hope this will take you back to your own particular roadtrip memories... enjoy!
